Route 071 is both an ambition and a realistic Master Plan. It aims to force a breakthrough in the endless discussion about the construction of roads and public transport infrastructure in Leiden. That is why we made this scheme on our own initiative. A design with integrated solutions for the mobility challenges in the whole area, with positive effects for all stakeholders sharing telephone code 071. Hence the name. Route 071 connects the region, spares landscape and residential areas, offers space for public transport, is efficient and affordable.
