A design for the renovation of the decayed monumental Town Hall de Paauw in Wassenaar. A fantastic building with a wealth of details and high quality finishes. First of all the building needs to be restored and repaired. Subsequently various surgical interventions are needed to prepare the building for twenty-first century functionality, whilst protecting the monumental quality. The design encompasses smart measures to enhance the energy performance and comfort such as a heat pump and solar panels.
