Bicycletunnel “Den Deijl”

This design evocates the qualities of the Wassenaar landscape: the dunes and the beach. We have made two photographic panorama’s and translated these to a mosaic tile pattern. Both artworks are several hundreds of meters in length and made of 1,2 million mosaic stones of 2 by 2 centimeter in 71 different colors. The nickname of the project is the most beautiful tunnel in the Netherlands.
