Eight bridges, for cyclists and pedestrians, replacing worn out wooden predecessors. They are light and elegant, a modern interpretation of the typical 19th century park bridge. The rough weathering steel deck is embraced by refined glazed balustrades. The design is a good example of intelligent sustainability: all materials used are 100% recyclable. Re-use of of the existing foundation resulted in minimum impact during construction.
