Noise barrier Laan van NOI

In collaboration with Strukton Infratechnieken we designed a noise barrier for Prorail between the train stations Laan van NOI en Mariahoeve. In this assignment the focus was on a careful integration into the natural setting. In the schematic section a plant screen is placed at the outside of the barrier, which was previously hidden behind the structure. In combination with a transparent glass screen on top the noise barrier creates a pleasant view for travellers as well as for locals.
